THIS AFTERNOON: It's a nice fall day with 60s and sunny weather across our area. The wind is fairly light. We'll have warmer weather tomorrow before cooler conditions settle in for several days.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, low near 36. Wind S/SW 5-12mph.
THANKSGIVING: Sunny and breezy, high near 72. Wind W/NW 10-20mph. It will be cooler across the Panhandle, 50s around Amarillo. That cooler air will move into our area late afternoon into the evening, with a northerly wind.
COOLER WEATHER: The high will likely be in the 50s Friday, with clouds gradually increasing through the day. We're still seeing a decent range in computer guidance late Fri-Sat, some solutions showing some showers, other model runs taking the disturbance farther north and keeping it dry here. It also doesn't look like there will be a lot of moisture available.
That said, we'll keep a slight chance for rain Friday night, changing over to a rain-snow mix into Saturday. Even if we do see showers, they will be light.
Saturday will probably top out in the 40s, with a lot of clouds. Next week will stay cool.
TEXAS TECH: It'll be a cool day with a lot of clouds in Stillwater Saturday, with 11 a.m. kickoff in the mid 40s, reaching the 50s during the second half. Light NE wind. Slight chance for some rain during the game.
I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful you trust us for your forecast. Have a great evening. Bobby will have an updated forecast posted here early tomorrow.
