The Red Raiders couldn't respond to the Jayhawks shooting 9-15 (60%) from beyond the arc in the first half, fall to Kansas in Lawrence 79-63.

Dedric Lawson led the way for Kansas with 25 points (9-14 FGs), 10 rebounds and two blocks. Texas Tech had four players in double figures, with Davide Moretti leading all scorers with 14. The Red Raiders shot 34 percent from the field, and 21 percent from three. 

Texas Tech returns home for it's next contest when they host West Virginia Monday, January 4th at 8 p.m.
