Temperatures were about the same today as they have been over the past week with morning lows in the low to mid 70s and afternoon highs in the mid 90s. Below are some of the morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms formed along the state line and across our northern counties earlier this afternoon. These storms are slowly moving to the east, with emphasis on slowly, as they are essentially just stationary. Since these storms are hardly moving at all, where it rains, the rainfall will quickly add up and at least minor flooding can be expected. Some of these showers could last into tomorrow morning, although they will continue to be very hit or miss. You can keep an eye on the rain with our live streaming radar below.
We will see a break from the rain during the day tomorrow with another chance for storms starting late in the afternoon. A slight chance for storms continues into Wednesday and then the center of high pressure will move almost directly overhead, clearing out our sky for the second half of the week. Temperatures might get a few degrees warmer at the end of the week, but overall they will be about the same each day, low to mid 70s in the morning and mid 90s in the afternoon.

I hope you had a great weekend and great start to this week! I will have an update on the storms plus the rest of your forecast tonight on the News at Nine. Matt will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
