It was a little warmer today with slightly above average temperatures both this morning and afternoon. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

We had a few showers and thunderstorms across the region this morning and then again this afternoon as a weak cold front moved through. Click here for a look at the 24 hour rainfall totals from the West Texas Mesonet sites and click here for a breakdown of all the rainfall totals from the past 96 hours. The cold front and showers will exit to south of us this evening.  You can keep an eye on the potential rain with our live streaming radar below.
Temperatures will be a little cooler this weekend, with morning lows in the mid 60s and afternoon highs in the mid 80s. We will continue to have a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening, mainly across our western counties around the state line. This pattern will continue through Monday, but then high pressure will have more of an influence on our weather by Tuesday, which will help clear us out and warm our temperatures back to around average.
