Some of us have New Year's resolutions and some of us have New Year's binge lists. One is much more attainable than the other. If you're looking for some shows to pad out your never-ending queue, there's a real variety of new premieres this week, which means there is something to suit everyone's taste. First up is the highly anticipated final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events, a new docuseries designed to usher in a new you in the new year called Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, and the 76th Annual Golden Globes, which will officially kick off awards season.

These recommendations courtesy of TV Guide are here to help you through your weekend binge. And if you're looking for even more suggestions, head over to TV Guide's Watch This Now!, which has hand-picked recommendations for all the best shows you can start watching immediately.

1. Tidying Up with Marie Kondo

Marie Kondo started a cleaning craze the likes of which Pinterest had never seen before. The creator of the KonMari Method is now taking her best-selling book to Netflix in a docuseries that is the epitome of new year, new me. The eight episodes reveal the transformative power of Kondo's methods, as each one focuses on a person at a crossroads in their lives who needs a clean slate to move forward. It's a must watch for anyone who is a Queer Eye fan.

2. A Series of Unfortunate Events

The third and final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events is highly anticipated as it will tackle the last four books of the beloved series. There are several major questions still left to answer: What are the secrets of the missing sugar bowl? What's the real story behind the V.F.D? Will Count Olaf rain misery down on the Baudelaire children? And most importantly of all, how did the Baudelaire children's parents really die? All that and more will be revealed. But don't get your hopes up for a happy ending; this is a Lemony Snicket creation, after all.

3. 76th Annual Golden Globes

Sandra Oh might not have won an Emmy for her star turn in Killing Eve, but she did nab America's heart. The dynamic presenting duo of Oh and Andy Samberg return not just for one award, but the entire show. The two will tackle the hosting duties of the 76th Annual Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 6. It'll be an exciting way to start the 2019 awards season, so make sure to check back here for all the biggest news from the show.

If you're still looking for something to watch, remember to check out TV Guide's Watch This Now! feature. It's full of hand-picked recommendations, from the talked-about shows to the gems you can't afford to pass up.
