What's the phrase? I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I could? That's my story, my parents moved to west Texas when I was a baby so I consider myself a Texan. I was raised just a bit south in Seminole. After graduation I set out to seek fame and fortune! I lived in College Station briefly, then Austin, where I fell in love with radio helping a friend co-host a show at KVRX in Austin. I realized then, that I could be getting paid for something I loved to do the rest of my life – which is the only way to earn a living, if you ask me. On a whim, I relocated to Salt Lake City, where I stayed for a while and had a crazy overnight shift at a local station. I also met my husband there, and we have a fun-loving toddler now! Once you have kids, you realize there's nothing quite like being around family. So once we both had graduated from the University of Utah, we set our sights on moving back to Texas. And let me tell you – It feels great to be back! I have a love and passion for radio, and being a part of your lives connected through radio waves. It's pretty amazing!
