Karli Hamilton led the Texas Tech offense with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate while the team tallied eight hits on the day. Missy Zoch fanned two hitters in 3.2 innings before sophomore Erin Edmoundson finished the game for her fourth win of the season. The duo limited Lamar to just one hit through seven innings.
 

The Lady Raiders started the day by capturing the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. No. 32 Kennedy Bridgforth and Lana Rush took a 6-2 victory on court two just before No. 40 Felicity Maltby and Nell Miller clinched the point with a 6-3 win

The Red Raiders remain perfect on the season after taking down Nebraska and Wisconsin.

Lady Raiders capture first dual match win of the season

He was joined by Duke AD Kevin White to talk about the upcoming basketball game and what birthed the idea for the weekly radio show. Hocutt also talked about the latest news on facility upgrades and potential for beer and wine sales at sporting events. 

Adrian Beltre had two hits for Texas and has 2,985 for his career, tied with Sam Rice for 31st place on the all-time list.

Alexander took over as owner on July 30, 1993, and the Rockets went on to win back-to-back titles in 1994-95 behind the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler.

The win by the Red Raiders improved their record in season openers to 7-1 in the past eight seasons and 8-7 in the last fifteen road starts.
